Telefunken REN 804 with sales sticker from 1929! This tube has seen some use some but is still in good working order. It tests with 75% of a new tube, so plenty of life left on this rarity.
The writing on the socket indicates that this tube was initially tested and sold on December 19th 1929 in Zurich/Switzerland. This is one of the earliest pieces of this kind of tube I have ever seen (the type itself was introduced by Telefunken in 1928).
This is a real piece of history…. and still in usable condition. This is a very rare tube and a perfect fit for any serious pre-war tube collection….
As you can see on the pictures the middle pin was repaired once. This does not affect the proper operation of the tube.
